The 43rd Annual Wavecrest Woodie Meeting, sponsored by the San Diego Woodies, will be held on Saturday, September 17, in the Moonlight Beach parking lot in Encinitas. San Diego Woodies is part of the National Woodie Club.
Wavecrest occurs each year on the third weekend of September, according to the event’s website. It kicks off Thursday night, September 15, with Encinitas Cruise Night. There is a “welcome” meeting on Friday nights at the pool cabana at the Best Western Hotel (host hotel). Saturday is the Wavecrest Show with over 200 woodies on display at Moonlight Beach. On Saturday night there is a dinner and auction at the Cabana pool at the Best Western Hotel. The weekend concludes with a Sunday morning cruise along the coast.
The Wavecrest event on September 17 is free to all car owners and the public. Below are the specific times and locations for the events:

*Saturday night, September 17 Wavecrest Dinner, Raffle and Auction, 5 p.m. m. to 8:30 p.m. m. at the Best Western hotel. Dinner not served by the host, tickets available at the Wavecrest Poster Stuffing Party on September 10 and from Thursday, September 15 to Saturday, September 17.
