The 43rd Annual Wavecrest Woodie Gathering, sponsored by the San Diego Woodies, will be held on Saturday, September 17 at the Moonlight Beach parking lot in Encinitas. San Diego Woodies is part of the National Woodie Club.
According to the event’s website, Wavecrest takes place on the third weekend of September every year. It kicks off on Thursday evening, September 15, with Encinitas Cruise Night. A “Welcome” meeting will be held on Friday evening in the poolside cabana of the Best Western Hotel (host hotel). Saturday is the Wavecrest show with more than 200 Woodies presented at Moonlight Beach. Saturday night there is a dinner and auction at the poolside cabana at the Best Western Hotel. The weekend ends with a Sunday morning cruise along the coast.
The September 17th Wavecrest event is free to all car owners and the public. Below are the exact times and locations for the events:

*Saturday, Sept. 17 Wavecrest 8am – 3pm Moonlight Beach parking lot is located at 4th Street and C Street. No pre-registration or fee. DJ, food trucks, prizes and raffle.
*Saturday evening, September 17th, Wavecrest Dinner, Raffle and Auction, 5pm-8:30pm at the Best Western Hotel. No dinner with host, tickets available at Wavecrest Poster Stuffing Party on September 10th and Thursday September 15th through Saturday September 17th.
