ENCINITAS, CA – Warmer weather is expected in San Diego County on Wednesday, prompting the National Weather Service to issue a heat advisory for parts of the region.

The heat warning is valid from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday for coastal areas and valleys in the county, including Encinitas, the NWS says.

According to the NWS, temperatures as high as 96 degrees are expected, with the warmest temperatures predicted for inland coastal areas and western valleys. Encinitas will reach a high of 83 degrees Wednesday.
