Weekly Crime Reports: Encinitas, Del Mar, Solana Beach

Weekly crime reports from the North Coast Sheriff’s Department for March 21 to March 28 for the cities of Encinitas, Del Mar and Solana Beach. All those arrested in these criminal charges are presumed innocent.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call on March 21 at 11:42 a.m. for the crime of breaking into an apartment on North Granados Avenue, Solana Beach. A 64-year-old man reported a stolen bicycle ($ 2,100).

Joel Miller, 40, was arrested on March 15. March 21 at Leucadia Blvd., Encinitas, and reserved in custody of Vista on suspicion of a criminal offense.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for the crime of grand theft, vehicles at 5:43 p.m. March 21 at Marsolan Ave., Solana Beach. A 62-year-old man reported stolen items ($ 1,400).

At 2:43 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for a petty theft offense. March 21 at Orlando Lane. The 55-year-old victim reported stolen miscellaneous tools ($ 100) and Wedgewood furniture ($ 200).

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for the crime of vehicle theft on March 21 at 11:19 a.m. on 13th St., Del Mar. A 24-year-old man reported a stolen car ($ 15,000).

Joel Miller, 40, was listed and released for misdemeanor possession of controlled substance paraphernalia, possession of controlled substances, and falsely identified by a peace officer at 3:02 p.m. March 21 on Blvd. Leucadia, Encinitas.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for the property found at 7:33 p.m. March 21 in El Fuego, Rancho Santa Fe. A police officer found an ID card, keys, bag, phone and various items.

77-year-old Michael Sienkowski was quoted and released for the offense at 5:26 p.m. March 21 in Santa Fe Drive, Encinitas. The 58-year-old man reported an apparently minor injury.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for vandalism about the offense at 3:10 p.m. March 21 on South Cedros Avenue, on Solana Beach. The victim, the church, reported damaged windows ($ 2,000).

Daniel Sack, 36, was cited and released for a misdemeanor, listed and released on the basis of an active warrant at 11:32 a.m. March 22 at North Quince St., Escondido.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for vandalism about the offense at 1:29 p.m. March 22 at Clark Ave., Encinitas. The victim, ward, reported a damaged sidewalk ($ 1) and a light pole ($ 1).

Ryan Marshall, 42, was cited and released for an offense of possession of controlled substance paraphernalia at 2:56 a.m. on March 22 on South Nardo Ave., Solana Beach.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for the crime of vehicle burglary at 7:10 a.m. March 22 on Rosebay Drive, Encinitas. A 27-year-old man reported a stolen miscellaneous tool worth $ 1,450.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to the call for the property found at 12:52 p.m. March 22 at North El Camino Real, Encinitas. A police officer found an antidepressant and sedative.

Sean Reed, 48, was arrested on March 22 at 11:30 a.m. on Olive St., Vista, and booked into custody on suspicion of a felony on the orders of another agency.

At 7:19 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to the call for a petty theft offense. March 22 at Summersong Court, Encinitas. A 37-year-old man reported stolen items ($ 1).

25-year-old Elik Filhan was arrested at 4:38 p.m. March 22 at Calle Christopher, Encinitas, and reserved in Vista custody on suspicion of a felony violation of parole.

Jack Toth, 55, was listed and released for the offense he was listed and released on active duty at 1:45 p.m. March 22 at El Camino Real, Oceanside.

London Barrett, 28, was quoted and released for the offense, listed and released on the basis of an active warrant at 3:34 p.m. March 23 at State St., Carlsbad.

Stephen Sieber, 46, was arrested at 7:35 p.m. March 23 at Encinitas Blvd., Encinitas, and booked into custody on Vista on suspicion of violating parole.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to the call for the crime of vehicle burglary at 3:46 p.m. March 23 at Encinitas Blvd., Encinitas. A 41-year-old man reported stolen items ($ 100).

Paul Houma, 60, was convicted and released on May 16 at 4:05 p.m. March 23 at College Blvd., Oceanside.

45-year-old Julio Cruz was arrested on 12.11. March 23 at Encinitas Blvd., Encinitas, and booked into custody on Vista on suspicion of violating public drunkenness.

Ashley Ryan, 33, was arrested at 9 p.m. March 23 at Oceanside Blvd., Oceanside, and booked into custody Vista on suspicion of violating probation: re-arrest.

John Spillane, 47, was released at 6:28 p.m. for possession of controlled substances. March 28 at Oceanside Blvd., Oceanside.

Herman Robinson, 45, was cited and released for the offense, listed and released on an active warrant at 5:46 p.m. March 23 at Olive Ave., Vista.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for the crime of grand vehicle theft at 9:36 a.m. March 23 at Stratford Court, Del Mar. A 29-year-old man reported a stolen briefcase ($ 25) and various items ($ 1,500).

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for the crime of grand theft, vehicles at 12:38 p.m. March 24 on Saxon Road, Encinitas. A 48-year-old man reported stolen car parts ($ 2,000).

Brandon Eddings, 32, was cited and released for the offense of possession of controlled substance paraphernalia, possession of a controlled prescription and possession of a controlled narcotic substance at 3.45 on 24 March on North Coast Highway 101, Encinitas.

Rebecka Mckee, 39, and Kevin Kerchenfaut, 38, were cited and released for misdemeanor possession of controlled substance paraphernalia at 1.45 a.m. March 24 on Blvd. Leucadia, Encinitas.

Miguel Perez, 31, was arrested at 7:41 p.m. March 24 at the North El Camino Real, Encinitas, and booked at Vista Prison on suspicion of violating public drunkenness.

Maria Cervera, 24, was arrested at 10:58 p.m. March 24 at Santa Fe Drive, Encinitas, and booked at Vista Prison on suspicion of violating public drunkenness.

Joshua Hauck, 40, was convicted and released at 10:37 p.m. for possession of controlled substances. March 24 at North El Camino Real, Encinitas.

Lawrence Madrid, 48, was arrested at 2:37 p.m. March 24 at Jimmy Durante Blvd., Del Mar, and booked into custody on Vista on suspicion of a felony on the orders of another agency.

Andre Kenny, 32, was arrested at 4:30 p.m. March 24 at Encinitas Blvd., Encinitas, and booked into custody on Vista on suspicion of violating public drunkenness.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for the crime of grand vehicle theft at 14.09. March 24 at Neptune Ave., Encinitas. The 39-year-old victim reported stolen two pairs of rings ($ 25,000).

Isac Nachbar, 27, was cited and released for the offense of possession of controlled substance devices and possession of controlled substances on 24 March at 8.09 in Autumn Place, Encinitas.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for the crime of grand vehicle theft at 8:54 a.m. March 24 on San Lucas Drive Street, Solana Beach. The male victim, a store, reported stolen two credit cards, intangible personally identifiable information, a backpack ($ 10), Air-Pods ($ 240) and a pair of rings ($ 3,000).

48-year-old Christian Rodriguez was convicted and released on March 25 at 2.51 on Regal Road in Encinitas for an offense of possession of controlled substance paraphernalia.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for vandalism about the offense at 3:05 p.m. March 25 at Encinitas Blvd., Encinitas. The victim, a business park, reported damaged structures ($ 2,000).

Sheriff’s deputies responded to the call for a misdemeanor, the theft at the store at 7:43 p.m. March 25 at North El Camino Real, Encinitas. The victim, a trafficker, reported the stolen miscellaneous household ($ 57).

Hector Quinter, 34, was arrested at 3:30 p.m. March 25 on North Vulcan Ave., Encinitas, and booked into custody on Vista on suspicion of a violation of another agency’s judgment.

Evan Shapiro, 23, was arrested on March 25 at 11:06 a.m. on South Highway 101, Solana Beach, and booked on suspicion of public drunkenness on suspicion of drunkenness in San Diego at San Diego Central Jail.

Emilio Santiago, 52, was arrested at 1:50 p.m. March 25 at Encinitas Blvd., Encinitas, and booked into custody Vista on suspicion of violating public drunkenness.

Kelly Crouch, 36, was convicted and released on March 25 at 8:06 a.m. on Leucadia Boulevard in Encinitas for possession of controlled substance paraphernalia.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for petty theft offenses on March 25 at 8:33 a.m. on Birmingham Drive in Cardiff by the Sea. The victim, a gas station, reported a stolen structure of various services ($ 120).

Brandon Eddings, 32, was convicted and released at 10 p.m. March 25 on Blvd. Leucadia, Encinitas.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for a misdemeanor theft at 9 p.m. March 25 at Encinitas Blvd., Encinitas. A 27-year-old man reported a stolen license plate.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to the call for the crime of vehicle burglary at 8:38 p.m. March 25 at Border Ave., Del Mar. A 41-year-old woman reported a stolen ID card, three credit cards, a purse ($ 30), a backpack and various items ($ 400).

Tommy Trucker, 77, was arrested on March 26 at 9:34 a.m. on North Vulcan Ave., Encinitas, and was booked into Vista Prison on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to the call for the crime of burglary at 14.01. March 26 on Regal Road, Encinitas. A 62-year-old man reported stolen various documents.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to the call for the crime of grand theft at 3:49 p.m. March 26 at Clipper Court. The 57-year-old victim reported stolen two CardioMems devices ($ 2,000) and various Verizon items ($ 1,000).

Andrea Garza, 38, was arrested at 1:30 p.m. March 26 at South Highway 101, Solana Beach, and booked into custody Vista on suspicion of a felony on the orders of another agency.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for a minor theft offense on March 27 at 10:05 a.m. on Solana Hills Drive, Solana Beach. A 27-year-old man reported a stolen bag ($ 10) and various items ($ 50).

At 1:21 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for a lethal weapon crime. March 27 at West C St., Encinitas. A 43-year-old man reported possible internal damage and stole an HP computer that was later found.

At 8:22 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for a petty theft offense. March 27 at the Camino Del Mar, Del Mar. The 25-year-old male victim reported a stolen iPhone Pro 11 ($ 450).

Casey Shea, 30, was arrested at 2:22 p.m. March 27 at West C St., Encinitas, and booked at Vista Prison on suspicion of violating public drunkenness.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for vandalism about the offense at 5:59 p.m. March 27 at Manchester Ave., Cardiff by the sea. The 67-year-old victim reported damaging the car ($ 400).
