63-Year-Old Rider Dead after Motorcycle Accident near Grandview Street
ENCINITAS, CA (March 31, 2022) – Thursday afternoon, Anthony Louis Avila was killed in a motorcycle collision on Highway 101. To see also : Encinitas council selects new redistribution map.
According to authorities, the incident occurred around 3:50 p.m., near Grandview Street. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.
According to reports, Avila’s riding a motorcycle to the south on route no. 2 Highway 101 when he turns left onto lane No. 1 to pass the vehicle ahead. There, Avila collided with an eastern SUV that crossed into its lane while traveling on Grandview Street.
Due to the extent of sustained injuries, paramedics pronounced the 63 -year -old Avila dead at the scene.
