Jeff Light is the editor of the San Diego Union-Tribune and has been with the newspaper since 2001. Prior to his current role, he served as president of the SPJ chapter in San Diego and earned a B.A. in journalism from Northwestern University. His previous work includes managing the press room’s social media accounts, compiling the Essential California newsletter, and creating a blog called “The Conversation”. He also worked as a subway columnist and published other newspapers.
Jeff Light is a lifelong San Diegan who began his career as a journalist at Buffalo News.
