Officials are searching for suspects in an armed robbery in Encinitas

ENCINITAS, California – San Diego County Sheriff’s Department officials are searching for the suspects following an Encinitas burglary.

Last Sunday night, deputies from the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department called a crossroads between South Vulcan Street and East E Street to report an armed robbery.

Upon arrival, deputies were told that four men in ski masks had approached a group on the street and threatened the men and women with a firearm and a knife. Unknown suspects took out jewelry and money, deputies said.

The four men were described as 20-year-old Hispanic men. One of the men was wearing a white collared or flannel shirt with long Dickies pants. The other three men wore dark shirts and long Dickies pants.

The suspects fled the scene in an older black sedan north of South Vulcan Street.

No one was injured in the incident, officials said. He continues to research the subject.
