LeucadiART Walk returns to Encinitas on August 28th

Encinitas CA- Leucadia 101 Mainstreet Association presents the 16th Annual LeucadiART Walk, Sunday, August 28, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
A free community event was held along North Coast Highway 101 between Encinitas for Equality, 1900 North Coast Highway 101, and Coastal Animal Hospital, 434 North Coast Highway 101. Highway 101 will come alive with technology beauty, visual arts, animation and animation. live music as well as a libation garden.
“The LeucadiART Walk is a true representation of art and life here in our neighborhood,” LeucadiART 101 Mainstreet Executive Director Brittany Coralles said. “After a long time, our team is eager to get the community and families to come down to our local fields to shop thoughtfully to support our culture. Leucadia 101 Mainstreet is excited to welcome its residents back to stroll along 101 and support both local artists and high street businesses. Sales from purchases go directly to the artists. The LeucadiaART Walk is free for all to attend, and we encourage biking, walking, and skiing to the event. “
New this year, LeucadiART Walk is offering a free e-bike training class, led by BCycle, where participants can train with a BCycle representative and learn the basics of road e-bikes. Those who complete the training through a certified instructor will receive a special gift from BCycle. Training times are 11 am, 11:30 am, noon and 12:30 pm. Those interested can email brittany@leucadia101.com to register as soon as possible. Space is limited.
Live music can be enjoyed by anyone in a variety of artistic settings. The lineup includes Ben Powell, the Leucadia 101 Battle of the Bands led Juvenile Seagulls, and more. The Children’s Arts Center at Head Start, 616 North Coast Highway 101, will feature a performance by the Encinitas School of Music. Kids can listen to music while participating in a free 20-minute painting class led by Paint Party USA owner Karria Bordin.
For guests 21 and older, Leucadia 101 hosts a Beer Garden at Noni Salon, 704 North Coast Highway 101. Visitors can enjoy local traditional beer, Kings and Outlaws, and Bambucha while listening to music. by Nena Anderson, Second Harvest. , Wag Halen and others. The beer garden doors open at noon and close at 4 p.m.
Attendees may park on La Costa Ave. Park and Ride, 710 La Costa Ave., and board an open-air shuttle bus between 9:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. that stops along the art trail. The last road to get back on track. Park and Ride is at 5:15 p.m

The Leucadia 101 Mainstreet Group is a non-profit organization that works in partnership with its neighbors, business owners, property owners, the City of Encinitas and San Diego County to preserve and revitalize the Leucadia North Coast Highway 101 Corridor.
