Fans: A golden retriever who was spotted outside of an Encinitas home
ENCINITAS, CA (KGTV) – The North County family hopes the new surveillance video will be key to retrieving their golden retriever in case MPs treat him as a stalker.
One of her furry babies has been missing from Denise Reppenhagen’s daily walks for several long weeks.
“He’s so sweet, so loving. Our house is very empty without him. Life is not the same without Finn, ”Reppenhagen said.
Finn, her eighteen-month-old golden retriever, has been missing since the morning of October 9. Reppenhagen says her daughter arrived at their home on Hollyridge Drive around 9.30am.
“She went inside, locked the garage, and didn’t realize Finn was still outside,” Reppenhagen said.
Minutes later, the video shows Finn barking near his house as an Amazon delivery driver has parked in front of the house.
Exactly at 9:42 am, the order confirmation shows that the package of face cream was delivered to Reppenhagen’s doorstep.
The video shows the driver picking up the package in front of the driveway, covered with bushes.
A few minutes later, the woman is in her car with Finn as she brings the dog into the car.
For Reppenenhagen, the movie is difficult to watch. Indicates that the woman is not trying to find Finn’s owner.
“It’s crushing. I can’t believe he’s taking our dog, said Reppenhagen.
Since Finn disappeared, Reppenhagen has wasted no time reporting to MPs, calling shelters and spreading information on the Internet, but a few weeks later there is still no sign of Finn having a microchip.
“My feelings go up and down. I have days when I can’t stop crying, ”said Reppenhagen.
Reppenhagen also contacted Amazon by filing a complaint and uploading the videos.
“Amazon launched an internal investigation into the incident,” said Reppenhagen.
While waiting for a message, he continues his search, looking for clues every day.
“I feel hope because I must hope. I can’t give up, ”said Reppenhagen.
A reward of $ 1,000 is offered for Finn’s return.
Anyone with information is requested to call the North Coast Sheriff’s Station at 760-966-3500.
ABC 10News has contacted Amazon for comment and is waiting for a response.
