It is reported that the alleged incident took place around four in the afternoon. On Sunday, May 1, when a mother claimed that an unidentified man grabbed her 5-year-old daughter’s hand and tried to walk away with her, the San Diego County Sheriff said. Then the mother allegedly grabbed her daughter’s hand and yelled at the man.
Authorities asked the public for help in identifying the man from an initial description at the time. But the North Coast Sheriff’s Station has since determined that the incident did not take place.
