North Coast Station Deputies from the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department responded at 3:49 pm. to a call regarding a road collision involving a motorcyclist in the North Coast Highway 101 and Grandview Street area, Deputy Ken Belzer said.
The staff of the Encinitas Fire Brigade intervened on the spot and attempted the rescue measures but the motorcyclist died on the spot from his injuries.
